What is Picksy and how does it work?

Picksy is a shopping tool that helps you save, organize, and keep track of products from anywhere in one convenient place. Whether you discover something on social media, a website, in a screenshot, or out in the wild, Picksy makes it easy to save items for later so you can come back to them when you're ready to buy.

Here's how it works: 

Save anything instantly with a text

See something you love? Just text it to Picksy. Links, screenshots, photos from your camera roll—they all save instantly so you can come back to them later. It’s that simple!

Find items from images & screenshots

Have a screenshot, but no idea what items are shown? Text it to Picksy or upload the image directly to Picksy.com, and we’ll track it down using smart search. Picksy will also find lookalikes and similar items at varying prices and tell you exactly where you can buy them.

Organize items into collections

Create collections for whatever you’re into right now—outfits, apartment inspiration, gift wishlists, just-for-fun finds you love but aren’t ready to commit to yet. Then, share them with friends and family when you need help choosing what to buy.

Get notified when prices drop

Prefer to wait for a sale? Picksy monitors prices in real time and notifies you when one of your saved items drops in price, so you can buy it at the right time.

How is Picksy different from other shopping tools?

Picksy is designed to make saving products effortless, no matter where you find them. Unlike traditional wishlists, browser bookmarks, or retailer-specific tools, Picksy can identify items across all retailers and photos and save them for you in one place. Picksy is especially unique for its Text to Save feature, which lets you save products by texting a link, photo, or screenshot directly to Picksy.

Is Picksy free to use?

Yes! Picksy is completely free to use and does not require a paid membership.

How do I create an account/log in?

Getting started or logging in with Picksy is simple.

1. Visit picksy.com and select Join Now. If you already have an account, select Log In.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Picksy will send you:
   • A 5-digit verification code.
   • A secure “magic link” for instant login.

You can log in using either method:

• Option 1: Magic Link
  • Click the button in your email to log in automatically.
  • Important: The magic link only works in the same browser you used to start signing up. For example, if you start on a desktop, make sure you open the email in the same desktop browser—not on your phone.

• Option 2: 5-Digit Code
  • Return to the Picksy tab and manually enter the 5-digit code sent to your email.

Can I use Picksy without an account?

You'll need to create a Picksy account to use the tool. Once you have an account, you can start saving products and links, uploading photos and screenshots, building and organizing collections, and more!

How do I navigate Picksy?

You can navigate Picksy using the navigation menu:

• On desktop: located on the left side of your screen.
• On mobile: located at the bottom of your screen.

From there, you can choose: 

• Saved Picks—View a complete list of all the products you’ve saved.
• Collections—See your grouped collections for different projects, wishlists, or shopping categories.
• Images—See and shop the images you’ve sent to Picksy.

How do I save items to Picksy?

Whether you have a product link or a photo of an item you love, Picksy offers multiple ways to save it and revisit it later.

Method 1: Save with a Link

Found a product online? Just copy and paste the link into Picksy.

1. Copy the product link from any website.
2. Open Picksy and go to the "Add an Item" section.
3. Paste the link and click the arrow icon to save it instantly.

Your item will automatically be added to your Saved Picks.

Method 2: Save with a Photo

No link? No problem. Picksy can identify products from photos and screenshots and help you find matching or similar items.

1. Click the "+" icon in your dashboard.
2. Select "Upload Image".
3. Upload a photo or screenshot.

Picksy will analyze the image, find matching products, and save all results to your account.

Method 3: Text to Save

Save products on the go by texting Picksy a link or photo.

1. Add your phone number to your Picksy account.
2. Save the Picksy Assistant number to your contacts: 742579.
3. Text a product link or photo to that number to save it to your Picksy account. You will receive a text message with a results page once your item is found.

How do I buy a product I saved?

Picksy helps you save, organize, and track your shopping finds, but does not process payments or handle transactions directly. To make a purchase, Picksy will direct you to the appropriate retailer's site.

When you’re ready to buy an item:

1. Open the product from your Saved Picks or a collection.
2. View the product details page.
3. Click the retailer link listed. 
4. Complete your purchase securely with the retailer.
