How do I add an item to my Saved Picks by text?
To start saving items via text, you’ll first need to add your phone number to your Picksy account. Once complete, save the Picksy Assistant phone number (742579) in your contacts and start sending product links, photos, and screenshots directly to it.
What can I send via text?
You can text Picksy product links, screenshots, or photos of items you love.
Product Links
Send a direct link to a product page of any online retailer. Please note: Links copied from apps (i.e., Instagram, TikTok) are generally not supported.
Screenshots & Photos
You can text Picksy a photo or screenshot. Picksy will use image recognition technology to identify the item and send you back a link to matching or similar items.
What happens after I send a text?
Once you text a product link, screenshot, or image to Picksy, our system immediately begins processing the submission. In most cases, your item will appear in your Picksy account within seconds. You'll also receive a confirmation text from Picksy that the product was successfully saved to your account.
I tried texting Picksy, but my message didn't send. What should I do?
If your text message to Picksy shows a red exclamation mark (!) or appears to fail, the issue is often related to your phone, messaging app, carrier connection, or device settings.
Try these quick troubleshooting steps:

Restart your phone
- This is the most common fix. A restart can resolve temporary messaging or carrier connection issues.

Check your cellular connection
- Make sure you have a strong signal and can send and receive other text messages.

Verify your messaging settings
- Some devices may temporarily block or delay messages from unknown numbers or cross-platform messages (for example, Android :left_right_arrow: iPhone messaging).

Send a test text
- Try sending a text message to another contact to confirm your messaging service is working properly.

Try again after a few minutes
- Temporary carrier delays can occasionally prevent messages from being sent immediately.
Still having trouble? If you've restarted your phone and confirmed that other text messages are sending successfully, please contact Picksy Support.
Why didn’t I get a response to my text?
If you don’t receive a reply from Picksy, it may be caused by a temporary carrier delay. In some cases, text messages can arrive late or out of order depending on your mobile provider.
You should also make sure that:
- Your phone number has been added to your Picksy account
- Only one phone number is associated with your account
Picksy requires a unique phone number match to correctly identify and save products to your account. If you notice persistent issues with text responses, reach out to our Customer Support team here.
Why didn't Picksy save my image?
Picksy can identify and process most screenshots and photos, but occasional issues may prevent an image from saving successfully.
Common reasons include: Unsupported file types, file size limitations, and/or temporary internal server errors.
If an image cannot be processed, you may see an on-site error message with more details about the issue. If the problem persists, please contact our Customer Support team for assistance.
How long does it take to process a texted image?
Most texted images are processed within seconds. In some cases, processing may take up to a minute, depending on the image and matching results.
Once processing is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation text from Picksy with your saved product or matching results.
If you haven’t received a response after a few minutes, please contact our Customer Support team for additional assistance.
Can I text multiple products at once?
No. Picksy only supports saving one product at a time via text at this time.
Why did I get different or similar products instead of an exact match?
Picksy uses image recognition and product-matching technology to identify products from links, screenshots, and photos. While our system can recognize products from nearly every retailer, matches may not always be exact. If a product doesn't save correctly or the match seems significantly off, please let us know through our Customer Support request form here. Your feedback helps us improve Picksy's matching system and make future results more accurate.
How do I stop receiving text messages?
To stop all text messages immediately, reply STOP to the Picksy Assistant: 742579. You’ll receive a confirmation message once you’ve been unsubscribed.
If you’d like to start receiving messages again later, text START or UNSTOP to resume notifications.
Why am I not receiving texts from Picksy?
If you’re not receiving text messages from Picksy, first make sure your phone number is correctly connected to your account. If you experienced an error while setting up your number, try logging out of your account and logging back in to refresh your session.
